"Our strata complex hired Island Builders to rebuild all our decks and railings.perform repairs and waterproofing,new siding,stucco and roofing ,install new windows and doors along with new balcony enclosures for owners that wanted them.We were referred to Island Builders from our property management company as a professional firm that would help navigate us through the difficult building codes and permit process of completing repairs to our building without a complete building envelope job. That would have cost us hundreds of thousands more.
 
From the first meeting with their team and our strata we were very impressed. After subsequent meetings we engaged Island Builders and their team of architects and engineers to perform necessary repairs to our 38 unit complex. They took care of all the municipal requirements and hurdles associated with a project of this type. They were always professional and went above and beyond for all our owners. "We recently had a new sunroom built by Island Builders and wow is it ever beautiful.We originally called out Island Builders in 2006 to solve some leaks we were having in our 20 year old wood sunroom that no one was able to solve for any period of time over the previous few years. We knew at the time the sunroom was quite old and should be replaced,but weren't in a position to purchase a new one.They quickly diagnosed the problem and solved our leaks. We finally decided it was time to look at replacing the old, now 30 year old sunroom, this summer and called back Island Builders to give us a quote. They showed us different options and were so knowledgeable about sunrooms. We decided on a custom built “ Designer Series” sunroom that we designed together with Sam. The difference between the dark old sunroom and our new sunroom is day and night. Sam’s suggestion of going out an additional three feet was such a great idea. The sunroom looks like its part of the architecture of the house. The quality of this sunroom is like what you see in a high end hotel. Really the nicest sunroom we have seen. We have spent pretty much the entire summer enjoying it and have received many compliments. A really quality job from a honest and professional company. Thank you for our favorite new retreat."

"Island Builders just completed a complete renovation to our home inside and out. My wife and I had to write a thank you to all the staff that were involved in our renovation.
We recently moved to Victoria from Ontario to retire and purchased a 1900’s home in Rockland in need of some serious restoration. We were referred by friends to Island Builders.
 
From the first meeting with Dave and Tim it was apparent we were dealing with very knowledgeable professionals. After setting a meeting with their Architect Randall we got started into putting our ideas and wishes to paper. We really wanted to keep the feel and warmth of the turn of the century home, but wanted all the latest conveniences and comforts. We wanted to retain and refinish most of the original woodwork which was difficult considering we stripped the house completely inside and out and alot of it was in poor condition. Not a problem explained Brad one of the finishing carpenters. Over the next week Brad and his team meticulously removed all the original turn of the century features and sent them back to the shop for refinishing. We were very impressed!! 
 
We worked daily with Dave and his team over a period of 10 months and these guys really made the whole process a pleasure. Always on top of it and updated us regularly. This was the second time we had completed a major renovation to a house. So we sort of knew the process. Well compared to our previous renovation experience. Island Builders set a whole new level of what is available and can be expected. From the management of the job to the on site daily workings.
 
These guys were not only skilled and professional but they treated our home like it was their own. It was clear to us that everyone involved had our best interest at heart.
